All foods at Pret A Manger restaurants are prepared in-store, using fresh, natural ingredients. There are many vegan options: soups, salads and sushi, wraps and sandwiches, treats and snacks, like various kinds of vegetable crisps, chocolatey fruit bars, nuts, marinated olives, popcorn, fresh fruit – and much, much more. Additionally, there are weekly soups and chef’s specials. Of course, you can order various hot and cold drinks: juices, teas, smoothies, hot chocolate and coffee. At Pret A Manger, trained baristas prepare the coffee specialties. The coffee beans are organic. Their “ice cold fruit smoothies” are made with a blend of real fruit and apple juice – no added sugary syrups, no preservatives, no flavourings and no added ice. You can get any of their hot drinks made with organic soya milk. Vegan dishes are labelled as such. Moreover, Pret A Manger has started to feature vegan-vegetarian food in its Veggie Pret store in London. More Veggie Prets will be opened.
Pret A Manger has long-term relationships with its farmers, supporting sustainable, ethical farming. Leftovers are donated to charity. The Pret Foundation Trust is committed to alleviating poverty in the UK by helping break the cycle of homelessness.
